The soul talk

"LOVE".. a wonderful topic to talk abt. From cartoon network to mobile networks,  this word unites everyone.

But many just see the mirage. We hav lost the essence. The world is no longer the dwelling place of  the divine soul.

Perhaps we hav given authority to movies and books to decide our opinion abt love.

Albeit the world no longer understand the soul talk of "Love", our souls can pick up signals and rekindle the lost glory.  "Soul understands the soul".

"Material joy is  immaterial when our soul is in turmoil"..

May be God put all his powers into one word and called it "LOVE". Even if he wants to punish us, it is by love. Coz love is mightier than the universe.

Thy LOVE makes me breathe♥

When i'm weary in the storm,
Your presence make me calm.
Like the tree with a firm stem,
You are my adobe in goodness and
gloom.

You are my cardiac rhythm,
Shelter i seek in thy bossom.
Thou glow like aurum,
Thou art My sweet winter blossom.

Thou art the synonym of love,♡
Sacred than the holy scroll.
By wisdom thou plough,
Making me a gentle soul.

Oh Mother!!!!!
Thou art my armour and sheath,
Thy Love makes me breathe.
The heavenly hands tethered,
You and me together.♡

A Clinical affair...

The theatre looked surreally eerie to Angela. It was her first time in an operation theatre. The nurse scurried around the vast room making things set for the surgery. Angela
was on the bed, hoping the procedure wont hurt her much.

"Hello young lady", greeted Doctor Mathew.
His voice filled the entire room. The tatoo of the crucifix was the first thing Angela noticed. She wished him 'Hi', nervous. Back in her mind, Angela retraced her memory of her first visit to the dentist. She stereotyped dentists as cruel people and was always afraid of them. Her love to have a perfectly alligned dentetion persuaded her to meet him. Feeling her aura of fear, The dentist said "Medical Treatments wont hurt, but will only make you get ready for a better tommorow".
The doctor clasped his gloves. The sound of the rubber cloves pulled her to the present. But subconciously the Dentist's words were filling hope into her tiny heart.

"Lets start", said Doctor Mathew.
Angela's heart started beating faster than usual. Adrenaline filled her nerves. The doctor started examining her eyes with the torch. The Pinguecula was evident. 'Pinguecula', as absurd as the name are growths that occur on the lining covering the white part of the eye. This was more common with the middle aged populace, but it didnt spare the young ones.

"Angela, open your eyes as wide as possible", the instruction resembled the acoustics of a yoga instructor. Her eyelids parted as a bloomed lotus. The left eye bore the non cancerous cell growth(pinguecula).
"Get ready", said the doctor patting her cheeks with an affable gesture.
"Will this be painful?" asked Angela swallowing hard her fears.
"Dont worry dear", replied the Doctor.

"Ouch", was her response to the clips that held her eyelids parted.
A nurse as old as her mom said,"Dont be afraid darling, we are not here to hurt you". The nurse's words filled Angela with hope. But the supply was a little less.

The procedure was about to start. Dr.Mathew was a faithful catholic. He had a tatoo of the crucifix emblazoned on his fore arm to accentuate his reverence towards Jesus. He grew up as an orphane. The priests sheltered him. His passion for medicine started in a sunday catechism class when he heard the story of Jesus curing a blind person. Mathew always said,"Jesus is my Master. I feel his presence guiding me in all my surgeries".

As a devote catholic Dr.Mathew started the surgery with "The Lord's prayer". Everyone in the room recited with a single chime. The doctor pronounced Psalm 21 which he knew word by word. As the doctor was indulged in prayer, Angela was making a silent prayer. "Amen", said everyone in chorus.

Angela was starting to feel dizzy. The clips held tight the upper lid, divorcing it from the lower eyelid. The lights were nearly blinding her. Angela saw something glisten, her intuition guessed it as a syringe. She tried to motion herself to pull her sleeves, then she realized her hands tied up.
"Gonna give you a small prink", said the doctor.
"Hands or hips??" questioned Angela, perplexed.
"To your eyes dear", uttered the Doctor.
"No doctor no!!!!! I wanna go home..... I dont want any surgery. PLZZZ let me go" wailed Angela.
Fear of needles grew with her from childhood. The Trypanophobia was at its heights. The friendly affable Doctor seemed an ugly fiend now. The nurse who filled her with hope earlier tag teamed with the Doctor and tried to cajole her.
"You're just two steps away dear, this pain isnt permanent" said the nurse, trying to ease Angela's fears.
Angela went deaf to every cajoling words.

The doctor wasnt asking for her consent. He was just informing things. The ultra fine needles entered the ever ethereal conjunctiva. The pain was infinitely infinite. Her right eye was covered with cotton, leaving only her left eye to the doctor's vision.
The Juniors who stood ajar admired Dr,Mathew's expertise.
Angela felt her blood flowing down her eyes to the sides of the left ear. Though she didnt experience any pain other the haunting injection, she felt as if the doctor is tickling her eye ball with a feather..

The surgery was a success. The nurse bandaged her.
"Its over darling", she said, her voice as sweet as an angel and kissed Angela on her fore head.
"You"ll have to wear anti-glare glasses atleast for a fortnight. After that your eyes will shine brighter than ever" said the doctor with an air of pride and a sense of accomplishment.

The surgery not only gave her exuberant eyes, it also belaboured her fear for needles.
The next fortnight will be the slowest 15 days for Angela. The only thing running in her
mind was "How to face her friends with the black glasses" :)

My Blood and Bone.. :)

I close my eyes and pray,
To find a new way.
The divine had a final say,
Who laid our path way.

Lord tethered you and me together,
Though you are from another mother.
I breath your oxygen,
Your eyes see my vision.

The road may be rough,
With noise at inane poise.
But thoughts are enough,
To keep us close.

I may acquainte with many,
But you are my crony.
I never feel alone,
You are my blood and bone.

Titanic lost the fight,
Despite its strong might.
Our comradeship will never die,
Even after our final good bye.

Greater Gramercy :)

I thank the womb,
That brought me to the earthly realm.
Till I traverse to my tomb,
Her name will be my cardiac rhythm.

My soul feels gratitude,
To my best dude.
His shoulders;my throne and nest,
'Dad, You are the BEST' :)

Gratitude fills my blood,
For the spirit of brotherhood.
Though he is younger than I am,
I see myself in him.

I feel greater gramercy,
For my friends;my
beloved ones.
My soul is at ease,
When in glow of my cronies.

I Wish I never said that..!!!

"Sometimes I know i shudn't have done that!!. The things I told, shouldn't have come out!!. The words which hurt the people dear to me.. It cant be taken back, things cant be brought back.. But at that moment, at that one instant, it couldnt be stopped. The act was unstoppable!!.. I wish I could tame myself and halt my anger.. I wish I could take my words back, and serve an antidote to the heart I broke.!! I Wish I never said that..!!!"

"Susan i asked for a coffee, not tea"
"Oops! Sorry Shaun. Here you go,Your cup of beverage. Why don’t you stop drinking coffee dear"
"Will you stop shopping?"
"hell no, why should i"
"U burped my answer in urs"
"Oh comeon, when'll i learn to win an argument"
"Don’t worry darling, Tomorrow isn’t far"
"shuttt upp"
"ha ha"
“So Shaun howz your research going”
“You mean the one about child labor”
“yes”
“Going just fine, too many social fiends behind this”
“My intuition was always right on that”
“Dear, the parents send their children to work in harsh environments, and that too for a poor wage”
“Poverty Shaun!!. We humans not only have a mouth but a stomach, it starts to alarm when its not full. We are created this way”
“Cant do the blame game honey. Why cant they have a little far sight?; provide education to children”
“yeah you’re right. But these are people who don’t worry about tomorrow. They work all day, receive their fruit of labor and empty it the same day”
“Well…Don’t they realize education is more important than food?”
“Your the professor. You should do the explanation”
“If food is their problem, there are many schools that provide mid day meals”
“Thats a good scheme. But Shaun I hope you’re aware of the casualty that happened in Bihar
“Yes. I’m more than aware of that. I don’t know why people are so reluctant. If they can’t do the work that they are paid for, what good will they be to the society?”
“God knows. My heart goes for the children who lost their life in this”
“Imagine the plight of their family honey. The child would have waved good bye before going, least knowing that it was the final adieu.”
“Shaun lets not debate on it now.. wait… I’ll get some more coffee.."
“Yes… The caffeine understands my stand well"...(wink)
